New energy heavy trucks will drive into cities around us

By 2030, new energy heavy-duty trucks are expected to account for 15% of global sales. The penetration of these types of vehicles varies among different users, and they operate in cities with the highest potential for electrification today.

Based on urban vehicle driving conditions in Europe, China and the United States, the total cost of ownership of new energy medium and heavy-duty trucks is likely to reach the same level as diesel vehicles by 2025. In addition to economics, more model availability, urban policies and corporate sustainability initiatives will support further accelerated penetration of these vehicles.
